Nineteen of the 43 machines on this site come with something to cut with, a router or a spindle, according to their maker's page. Fourteen don't, and ten pages don't say clearly. This guide compares the ones that are included: how much power and speed the makers give for each.

What the numbers mean

The included spindles run from 75W to 1.5 kW. Power and top speed are the two figures makers give most often. None of the pages say how their figure was measured, so treat it as the maker's description, not a measurement.

If a machine comes without a router, its price isn't the price of a working machine. The router or spindle guide covers the fourteen that don't include one, and the cost estimate adds a sourced router price where the maker lists one.
