"Length" is read from the page's wording, so "One year" and "365 days" both count as one year.

What the length doesn't tell you

A single number hides most of what matters: which parts are covered, whether the spindle has its own terms, who pays for shipping a part back, and whether the clock starts on the order date or the delivery date. A few pages give some of that detail; Sienci Labs' LongMill page, for example, says "365 days from receipt" and notes the policy date. Before buying, read the maker's own warranty page.
